Bobbanaring Gum
Product Details
This beautiful eucalyptus (gum) tree was photographed by Brooke Taylor of Boho Art & Styling on 27/08/2022 at the small surf coastal town, Point Leo, where the bush meets the sea.
Point Leo is a rural surfing locality on the Mornington Peninsula in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Point Leo Foreshore Reserve provides excellent waves for surfing and is one of the closest surf beaches to Melbourne. The area was known as Bobbanaring to the local Bunurong people prior to European settlement, hence the name of this piece, "Bobbanaring Gum".
With it's natural organic tones, it brings nature inside on to your walls, an iconic inclusion of our Aussie flora. We acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Traditional Custodians of Country and recognises their continuing connection to land, sea, culture and community. We pay our respects to Elders past and present.
